Trying out a new style using longer strokes in pen. I think I’d rather stick to stippling…

Random Sketches.:: [Confrontation] ::.

Finally less realistic drawings and more random doodles. This is something that came up in my mind yesterday. Firey pheonixes have always been a motif in my work. I’m recently introducing fawns and deers now. Love the idea, don’t like the lousy penart. :/

Bowhead Whale, Stippled

I realised I hardly draw marine mammals, so here’s a Bowhead Whale for a change! And I’m using one of my favourite techniques… STIPPLING! The proportion was really tricky because I tend to make him look a little fatter.. XP

Fawn, She Dreams .Papercut Design

Surprise! It’s another inked papercut design, but with a smoother, curvier style to it. It’s supposed to be a fawn in the clouds with the full moon behind. Should’ve saved this for Mid-Autumn Festival, no? (:

Random Doodle: Latios

March 1, 2009 at 8:09 pm | Posted in Doodles, Drawings, Ink, Pokemon | 2 Comments

Alright, I had a hard time deciding whether this is a shiny latios. I didn’t have a Copic pen with the regular latios’ blue, so I used this blue instead. I should have used BG34 Horizon Green instead. Oh well.

Something to brighten up that cardboard backing of the foolscap paper from school. Latios is handsome, no? 🙂

Caricature GiftArt: Meng Ran Friendlie

I know this is very belated, plus it doesn’t resemble Meng Ran the slightest bit… but it was a very quick drawing that she has been pestering me for since last year.

Okay, so I still need to brush up on my portraiting skills… XD

Drawn from a Royalty-Free GettyImages Photo “Ant on White Background” by Thomas Northcut during AEP today. Hmm… after this drawing I have decided that I don’t really like drawing insects. >P
