I finally created and designed my very own original mythological creature! I tried taking pictures of it (Because my scanner is down) but it didn’t come out right. So here is the uncompleted sneak peak of its skeleton to tide you over! It’s anatomically incorrect, but I’m quite proud of it already since it’s my first and original design!! =D

Sorry for the long, loooong hiatus! I’ve been working on a major project: Relief Paper Sculpture. Layers of paper are placed on top of each other to give a 3-D effect on a 2-dimensional media.

Inspiration came from Canadian paper sculptor, Calvin Nicholls. Here, I’m trying to depict an Artic Fox. Image courtesy of GettyImages.

Remember the post on “Blue Heaven”, a simple clouds and sky photograph? This became the design for the NYGH PSL 2008 Handbook! *beams* Unfortunately the published colour is much, much inferior to the original design.

I made this collage poster (A3) from random magazine cuttings that Hilary pre-cut during our Art Therapy session at NUH. I really, really love this piece. It was a completely spontaneous artwork, and that made it even more special! It is now laminated and put up on the closet door in my bedroom. (:

This is the (White) Lion papercraft, which I’m going to add a pair of wings on later. This papercraft model is from Yamaha Motor.

Alright! I admit I used UHU, but it was out of desperation! Ok I promise I’ll *try* not to use it again for my next papercraft… Anyway the model and instructions are available here. The instructions and diagrams were pretty bad, so I had to work this thing out myself. Do forgive me if it doesn’t look exactly like the real thing from Final Fantasy. I haven’t even played that game before. (except Chocobo Tales DS) (:
